Sean Barry: Sean Jefferys graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Geomatics from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa in 1987. After 2 years in the South African National Defence Force, he worked in the Cadastral and Land Information sectors in South Africa. He joined the mining industry in 2000 heading up the survey sections on several development projects throughout Africa. He joined Barrick at the Pueblo Viejo Project in the Dominican Republic in 2009. He was awarded the 2014 Barrick Global Excellence Award for Innovation and Continuous Improvement for the UAV project.
